Work is central to our lives. I spend no less than 9 out of my waking hours at my job and another 4 or 5 getting to and fro the office every day (I live in Lagos!).  So what I do during these hours matters tremendously. I am called to be a light in a dark world (Matt.5:14). I am a citizen of a holy nation (1 Pet. 2:9), with a continuous obligation to glorify God in all I do (1 Cor. 10:31). Therefore, I need to know how to spend these hours in a way that pleases God. Below are some helpful guidelines from one of my favourite teachers, and I share them in the hope that they will help many more people in living fully to God in the workplace.
